Technical Writer, Healthcare Security
Write the explanations of healthcare attacks that people search for, and make ours the ones worth finding.
Why this role exists
When a hospital IT director searches for what a ransomware group did to another hospital, or what a new regulation requires, or whether a medical device protocol is safe, the results are mostly vendor pages that say nothing. Our researchers know the answers. We need a writer who can turn what they know into pieces that are found, read to the end, and cited, without dumbing them down.
What you'll be doing
- Write explainers, incident breakdowns and reference pieces on healthcare security, working from our researchers' findings and public sources you verify yourself.
- Own the reference layer: the glossary, the regulation guides, the device and protocol pages that people search for by name.
- Make our research findable. Structure, titles and internal links that help the right reader find the right piece, with no tricks.
- Edit. Researchers and engineers will send you drafts; you make them clear and keep them right.
- Keep every piece current. A guide that was true last year and is not now is worse than no guide.
How we work
We are a small team and we do not publish anything we cannot source. Writing is reviewed like code: by someone who knows the subject. We are remote-first with a few hours of overlap with Tel Aviv.
What we need from you
- Writing samples on a technical subject that were read by the people they were written for.
- You understand how people search and how pages are found, and you know which of those techniques we will not use.
- You can interview a researcher, understand a finding, and check it against a second source.
- Security or healthcare background is a plus; care for accuracy is required.
